Reducing diabetes complications
We empower people with diabetes to adopt positive behaviors related to diabetes management, so you can reduce the risk of unwanted serious complications. We aspire to create a new standard for diabetes care in Hawaii so that the people of Hawaii may lead healthier, more enjoyable lives. Patients will leave each educational encounter with a better understanding of diabetes and how to make simple lifestyle changes to reduce the incidence of diabetes complications.
Certified Diabetes Care and
Education Specialist (CDCES)
Located in the heart of Honolulu, inControl Diabetes Learning and Resource Center provides group and individual diabetes educational sessions taught by Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). We also specialize in home blood glucose monitors, insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. Most insurance plans provide coverage for diabetes education. Please contact your insurance provider or call our office to check your coverage.
